Your monthly invoice summarizes all charges for the billing period. Here's how to read it and what to do if something looks wrong.
Invoice breakdown
Each invoice includes the following line items:
- Base plan: Your current subscription tier.
- Seat charges: Per-user fees if you're on a per-seat plan.
- Usage overages: Any consumption beyond your plan limits.
- Taxes: Applied based on your billing address and local tax law.
You can download past invoices as PDFs from Settings → Billing → Invoice history.
Proration and upgrades
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you're charged the prorated difference for the remaining days in the billing period. For example, if you're 15 days into a 30-day cycle and upgrade, you'll be charged half the price difference.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. You won't be refunded for unused time.
Payment failed
If a payment fails, we'll retry automatically over 7 days and notify you by email. To resolve it:
- Go to Settings → Billing → Payment methods.
- Update or add a valid card.
- Click Retry payment. Your account will be restored immediately.
